Music

As an actor-musician, I love getting the chance to incorporate music as a way to heighten storytelling and connect with an audience. I have been playing the oboe since the age of eleven, and I have been singing solo and in choirs since I was quite young. During my time in graduate school working with both Mary Baldwin University and The American Shakespeare Center, I started to expand my skills and become more comfortable not only with the instruments I already knew, but expanding and learning more. I also built on my music theory skills, practicing basic composition and music direction.
